Are You Gonna Toe my Way? Foot Clinic

2 hour foot clinic addressing structural issues such as Bunions, Plantar Fasciitis, Morton's Neuroma, etc...

We tend to think of foot pain as something originating in the foot, that can be addressed structurally at the foot in order to solve the problem. But it’s usually not about that. Toe spreaders or orthotics can certainly help alleviate the pain caused by structural misalignments, but they’re not going to solve the problem. This extended class includes anatomical lectures and extensive foot exercises designed to repattern proprioception and possibly musculo skeletal alignment of the foot and lower leg.  

This Anatomical Blog is recommended to read/practice before taking the workshop in order to thoroughly grasp the material. 

Complete props list:

Long medium strength theraband

A short piece of theraband ( about 8 -10 inches) that you can cut up ( and scissors) or some thick rubber bands, like the kind that come around broccoli or asparagus

One yoga strap

Two yoga blocks

A yoga mat

A pair of socks

Two stools or chairs of the same height

A 10 lb weight or something heavy ( Between 5-10 lbs) that you feel comfortable lifting

Both the Zoom recording and High Res recording are included. They are the same exact class. Zoom is lower video quality, better audio quality and requires less bandwidth to play.

The high res version has clearer video, but more ambient sound.
