Sonic Runway

In 2018, I was invited to participate in a fashion show held in the “ Sonic Runway”. Commissioned by the city of San Jose, this show featured local designers known for their innovative and eco-conscious designs, rocking body consciousness inside of the Sonic Runway exhibit, which was mounted outside of SJ City hall as a public work of art.

For it, I created a collection titled “ the Elementals”, inspired by visions of the oceans uprising and taking over the earth, armed with an artillery of plastic. The intention was to show the power of nature in her varied aspects. Destruction, rebirth, evolution, transformation and sexuality in all forms were celebrated within these upcycled pieces.
