Serenity Now!

This week, in the United States of America, we are celebrating Thanksgiving. If you don't live in this country, you may not be aware that for many Americans, this holiday is a bigger deal than Christmas. And so, I felt compelled to roll this week's #WednesdayWarmup and Sunday stretch in to one.

It can be a wonderful thing to get together with your community and eat a shared meal.

And sometimes, it can be a challenge.

So this week I created two different Work In's:

First, a 14 minute " Turkey Tune-Up" : A quick little workout to get your body moving and iron out the kinks, for when you simply can't get to the gym ( and you need it the most!).

It will fire up your core, stretch out the cramped muscles, and get your system pumping smoothly enough to sit down with 20 of your closest friends and eat a meal where the concept of food combining never saw the light of day, all while getting you back in the living room within 15 minutes to keep on catching up with your cousins.

Second, a 7 minute " Moving around the Meal" sequence, designed to facilitate digestion, while using the expanded volume around your midsection to enhance your stretching capacity.

By the way, this one can be done in bed.

Don't forget to take walks if you can, and remember that the quickest way back to your center is via your breath.

“Best of all is it to preserve everything in a pure, still heart, and let there be for every pulse a thanksgiving, and for every breath a song.” – Konrad von Gesner

My mission is to create a world where people are happy in their bodies.
I believe that happier people will bring us closer to a world that exists in
peace.

Happy Thanksgiving. Breathe On,

Domini
