Welcome to my Movement Blog

This blog has three sections: Working In,  Core Breathwork, and Galileo Training.

"Working In" is a little archive of various mini-workouts I've put together, mainly based on somatic awareness, combined with pseudo-restorative yogic positions and my own explorations in to breath.

"Core Breathwork" consists of breath based exercise sequences that I have put together, stemming from my own extensive explorations in to the breath and the change it can create from within our bodies.

"Galileo Training" is a movement blog I am building from my daily workouts on the Galileo Machine, a revolutionary machine for both the fitness and rehabilitative industries.

The " Working In" sequences can be done prior to any other movement class, to provide a deeper experience for any type of conscious exercise.

Core Breathwork is a gentle, yet extremely effective way to get inside the body and release stuck spaces that may not be accessible through traditional, muscular approaches to stretching/exercise. The breath, being both sympathetic and parasympathetic in nature, allows us to reach beyond accessory muscles to access the deepest layers, and organ systems as well.

By releasing holding patterns via the respiratory channels, more space is made for the digestive system. This alone can create a better sense of well-being. When combined with increased oxygenation, and the relaxed calm that is brought forth with deep breathing, the effects can be profoundly liberating, sometimes even euphoric. It is common to feel a little " high" after these exercises. Please make sure to give yourself a few minutes to " return to normal" before resuming your daily activities after practicing Core Breathwork.

As always, I don't live in your body, YOU DO.

Please consult a physician before embarking on any exercise program.
